The research activity of the Institute is devoted to study  various problems of classical and quantum field theories, particle and statistical physics, chaos and environmental flows.

We have a unique computing facility: 350 PC-s are connected togehter to form the Poor Man's Supercomputer used to investigate large scale QCD simulations.
